Most likely he was taken to a burn center based on protocol, not necessarily because he would die anywhere else. The folks working these units are quite literally the best, I've never not been impressed ny any that I've been in.

I thought it was a little crazy to be getting into drag racing at his age when I heard about it a couple of days ago.

Let's hope he's going to be okay.
