I don't care what anybody says...

If Barry Sanders isn't on anyone's top 3 list, they have not watched him play very much.

Everybody knew that Barry was getting the ball & they still didn't stop him.

You can't stop Barry Sanders...you can only hope to contain him.

He retired too early or would have possibly held the all-time record IMHO.

Not possibly… inevitably

1. Bo Jackson
2. Marcus Allen
3. Barry Sanders
4. Walter Payton
5. Eric Dickerson

I know Jim Brown was a bad ass, but before my time. I’ve only seen highlights.

Emmitt Smith is DQ’d for being a Cowboy.

I had a hard time not adding, Thurman Thomas, LT and Adrian Peterson. They make my top 10 for sure.

Derrick Henry may be the scariest of all time. I can’t imagine what must be going through a DB’s head as he comes at them downhill and full speed.

Jim averaged 5.2 yards a carry & over 100 yards a game for his career.

Bo Jackson was probably better than all of them, he just didn't play long enough to get on my list.

Kind of the same with Earl Cambell. He just didn't dominate as long as some of these other guys.

I'm leaving Smith off this list because he was the benefactor of countless holes you could drive a truck through. He was fortunate to run behind the best offensive line in the game for pretty much his entire career.

I’ll agree for the most part, however Earl was an animal and broke people down through his love of running
Nobody took harder hits and spread it out like butter

He didn't want the record out of respect for who held it, Emmit Smith wanted the record and was gonna keep playing no matter what to try and hold on and protect it...If Barry wanted it he would have got it with ease....

Also loved how after Barry Scored he'd simply hand the ball over to the ref and go back to the bench without some over the top celebration telling saying look at it..look at me!

Barry Was the man!

I'd go:
Barry
Brown
Bo
Terrell Davis
Christian Okoye (if we were playing tecmo super bowl on nes)

Yeah Barry said he tried to celebrate early in his career but said “this isn’t me, what am I doing?”
