If Robbie was going to take a loss, it's kind of fitting it came to RDA. Both guys have been around a long time and have battled back from adversity to get to the top over and over again, across divisions. RDA is basically the Brazilian Robbie in terms of his story. He goes on runs, gets abruptly stopped, comes back, works hard to improve and looks awesome again. It sucks we couldn't see the best Robbie throughout due to him getting hurt, but to his credit, RDA didn't make any mistakes against a guy who's always dangerous.
Fans of Robbie should have no trouble transferring their fandom to RDA is my point. Even though Robbie's one of the old guard, RDA has been around almost as long and has earned his props. He's also an incredibly complete fighter and has never had USADA trouble despite numerous cries from guys he beat or who aren't in his league.
