Reminder: Dana White didn't run the UFC in the Zuffa era and doesn't run it now

So I'm seeing a lot of posts again recently that seem to think the fat, bald cocksucker is, and was, anything more than a public stooge for the people that actually make the big decisions. Most of you on some level know this, and yet simultaneously seem to forget it. Critics still fall into the trap that Uncle Enzo deliberately set, which was to give this cunt too much credit and too much blame. Anything that he fucks up, is a fuck up on behalf of his superiors. Ari Emmanuel and Patrick Whitesell are the main guys driving the actual product of the UFC into the toilet while profiting handsomely, not Dana White (but he of course has some culpability).

Anything outside of Dana's one main role as a PT Barnum caricature (which is probably a long-run wash - he used to be an effective promoter, and now is just an awful, lazy demoter) good and bad that Zuffa or WME has ever done, including putting this clown in this position, is on the real leadership - or lack thereof.

He's not blameless. Being in the position he's in, he does have a say, it's just too bad he's clueless and doesn't have much to say that's of value. He's the face of the company, for better or worse (we all know it's worse).

He basically takes whatever he thinks is the popular opinion and vomits it back at people. So if there's a great fight, he enjoys focusing on and talking about that. If there's a shit fight (Punk vs Mike Jackson) he distances the company from it, like they have had nothing to do with it and are as angry or angrier than we are.
