I saw them in seattle in early 2000's during a corporate retreat. Wife and I had such a blast at it, I don't think Brian was playing with them at that time.

Dammit...I hate this. And it's two greats in just as many days, as Sly Stone (of Sly & the Family Stone) died on Monday.

I knew his dad was a bastard, but I didn't realize the extent of it until reading some of the obits. Dude was a legit psycho and a low-IQ moron to boot who cost his kids millions in bad business deals.

Back in high school one of my buddies had an early ‘60s Studebaker with a cassette player under the dash. We rode around in that thing listening to “Endless Summer” on repeat every day after school. Good times, good memories

Losing those two legends in the same week is fucked. They were both 82. That's a good run, especially given what they experienced.
