Just returned some couples husky mix (I'm guessing on that) after managing to grab him. He was a few miles away from home, but at least he had his collar on. Lady was in tears, and handing me a check for 1000 bucks. I declined. I was just happy enough to get your dog back to you. Would you have taken the money?

Meh. I feel better about just their dog back to them. If I get arrested, the cop will dig through my backpack and think I was insane. Perhaps rightfully so. But one of the things I always have is an extra leash and collar. I'll just feel good for doing the right thing. I don't do that often, so I'll just be happy having done it today.

No peanut butter was involved. He or she came close enough to my peabrain dog just close enough for me to grab him, as it was clear their owner was nowhere to be found. Grabbed his collar was just like "Nope. You lose." Then when I had him on a leash, I read his tags, and was like, well, I guess we're taking a walk....
