In Vladivostok, a surgeon performed 34 fictitious operations and earned 5.6 million rubles. 42-year-old Sergei Glushchak, who worked in the surgical department, convinced patients of the need for unnecessary operations on joints. He administered anesthesia, lightly processed tissue for appearance's sake, and received money for this. Some of the victims really needed treatment. Glushchak was sentenced to 8 years in prison, banned from practicing medicine for 3 years, and fined 1.2 million rubles.

Dentist treated patients for two years using videos from the Internet.

A family from the Czech Republic opened a small clinic in 2023. The 22-year-old dentist extracted teeth, treated root canals and administered anesthesia, the 50-year-old woman provided medical materials, and the 44-year-old man made dentures. However, the doctor did not have a medical education: he treated patients using videos from the Internet.

In two years, they earned about 14.5 million rubles. When the deception was revealed, the relatives were arrested. They were charged with running an illegal business, money laundering, attempted battery, drug trafficking and theft.

The perpetrators face up to eight years in prison.
