Any surprise?
Not really. You know Zuffa has Conor doing tons of media shit and who knows what else, so I doubt he had time to be around much. I think he's definitely a good teammate, as I've seen how he interacts with Aisling, Paddy, etc. But he's being pulled in a million directions.

typical bullshit from Zuffa and Conor groupie dana, they put his name on the show but have someone else coach. Sad!

They 100% used his name to sell the show. That's a pretty weak statement to say you'll only show up to match up the fights and see the fights and that they should know how to fight already .. not really what his job prerequisite are I assume for TUF coach's. I bet he got paid a bunch of cash to sign on and sure its a win win for both him and UFC corp but zero help for the actual fighters.

Considering they started filming right after his fight I don't blame him. He stated before he didn't even want to do it and he did it as a favor to the ufc.

The fighter roster has already been released and there isn't a name that stands out to me. Both coaches don't have anything positive to say about any athlete. When asked about it (interview on fs1) they both made excuses. Faber seems agitated that his team was already chosen for him and conor says that europe mma Is a barren wasteland.

All that tells me is that Conor is absent and the fighters suck. Hopefully team alpha male keeps it entertaining. Can't see this season sparking a resurgence. Might be the last tuf.
