That Terminator is out there! It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop... ever, until you are dead!

I saw it in the theater when I was a littke kid, my older brother took me. When the terminator was standing at the sink at cutting his eye out some people got up and left the theater and never came back. Too bad for them, the movie only got more awesome.

Why would they make a terminator with an Austrian accent try and infiltrate an American country?

Chill out, dickwad.
Nah. I don't hold these movies in the reverential esteem that people who saw them as kids do. I was 32 and had 4 kids when T2 came out . I liked it well enough that I saw it twice, once just me and the ex and then again with the kids, but it doesn't hold any special meaning to me.

That makes a lot more sense then.
I think I was like 15, and it was revolutionary as far as an action movie.
But on the heels of Abyss, and Avatar on the horizon, James Cameron's brainwash blue light movies did a number on most.

I was 11 and went to the midnight showing of T2(1992). I had seen Terminator and remember loving it. I saw many action movies with my older brothers. Because of them I had access to everything they rented. One way or the other, I was gonna watch it. Anyways, I was so hyped for T2 that I was worried I'd sleep through it cause it was passed my bedtime. He told me to trust him, I wasn't falling sleeping during this movie.

I loved Aliens as well and it is the better movie but for a kid T2 will always hold a special place. Especially, since I and everyone around me was obsessed with GNR. Even Furlong seemed like the coolest kid ever. Aliens came out in 86 so I watched it on VHS and we were poor so it was on an old shit box.
