You probably already know the story.
But if not, this is a piece of true Americana.

Marv heemeyer was just an auto shop guy. Then a big concrete company moved in next door. The company blocked access to his business, but more importantly the city fined him $2,500 for not hooking up to a sewer line at his shop. He was cut off from the sewer line by the concrete company. He asked the concrete company to allow an easement for him to run the sewer line and they refused.

Stuck between the powers-that-be, Marv secretly armored his bulldozer with concrete and steel. He then made a plan to take Vengeance with no loss of life other than his own... This was a one-way mission!

On June 4th 2004, Marv took to the city in his armored killdozer demolishing the newspaper that mocked his pain and suffering. He did the same towards others involved in the city council decisions preventing him from continuing his business. It was noted that Marv would approach buildings are cars allowed occupants to get out before destroying them. Marv wasnt a murderer, just a forgotten every man.

Perhaps the finest moment was when the city attempted to fight Marv with their own construction equipment, and lost.

In the end, Marv knew there was no coming back and things ended with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. True to his plan, the only fatality.

Feel free to rewrite it Chachi. I've been up all night. I'm going to bed and posting using Google Voice to Text which requires a certain amount of piecemeal typing via voice.

But what you should really do, is post more video and pictures of killdozer.

That’s how it’s done. Go out in a blaze of glory but don’t hurt anyone. I’ve never understood why people who commit suicide don’t use the freedom of not having to worry about any consequences to take a few chances. I’ve always wanted to try to rob a bank. If I was going to suicide, I think I’d like to try it first. Just to see if I could.
Right a few wrongs. Punch a couple people I’ve always wanted to, fly down to Miami and shit on @conor mcgregor nut hugger ’s door step, streak at a sporting event. Fly to Leicester just to knock the fish and chips out of Robbie Hart @Lemonparty Animal hands as he walks home from the pub.
I’d be a dangerous man.

The funny part is the the wrestling move the Granby is named after that city. And Billy Martin aka the godfather of the Granby which he coached great bridge in Virginia that was national power house back in the day. I attended the Granby camp twice and it was awesome.

Learning stuff here with you two.

Spent a lot of time on Granby Street when I lived in Norfolk, Virginia because it was full of nice restaurants and bars. Never thought to look up why it was called Granby Street.

I didn't get this guy until I had to deal with ridiculous bureaucracy in my city. Then I considered firing up my blow torch and building things of this nature ;)

I don't think he pussed out. Smoke em if you got em. I think when he realized he was unstoppable he just kept smashing. Smashing is fun.

I was on duty that day. We were at the station watching live and waiting for a mutual aid request.
Oh shit, didn't know you were that close. Must've been surreal. What was the feeling by the crew? Nerves, excitement, concern? Was there any injuries beside Mr Dozen.

We never got called, it was surreal watching it live, seemed like it wasn't going to end.
