I looked, those were worse, didn't seem like it warranted posting in both threads.

Your Bisping one looks good though, making them fruit and veg people rather than making them out of fruit and veg seems to be the way to go, that and picking a photo of a memorable moment to copy.

They are all better than my effort which is none, so fair play.

They are complaining about all that on sherdog at the moment, they think you should use unedited fruit rather than cutting and reshaping etc and the logic is they could cut 1 pixel out of a fruit and make anything if they wanted to.

I just see it as art but for contests they take it much more seriously because of the amazon vouchers many of us donate to the prize fund.

I once made one for a normal contest and I did a mix of fruit and real people, wasn't very interesting but I enjoyed the challenge.

@Jehannum thanks for putting the time in man~ I also like to create stuff and it's always hardest to put it out there, trying to get others to like. it's hard being an creative artist because you always have to expose part of yourself to the world.

I used to stress out a lot while I'm working on something, how people will take it, or gain any recognition for my work...

these days, I just try to enjoy the process, instead of results because if I do that, then the good result follows itself.

I'm having a better year in 2020, been posting a Mike Perry shoop every day and I'm a lot more active on instagram in general, now other artists and meme accounts share my work and I'm part of a chat group with lots of them in. They're all helping to get me more exposure and I really love it. Mike Perry shares my stuff regularly too, I've gone from getting 5-10 likes to getting 20-30+ with a few exceptions (racist jokes aren't quite as popular lol) so I'm trying to be positive, hopefully by the years end I will have increased that number significantly.

Was a bit disappointed few were interested in my Froot Shoop but I can live with it, it's a niche genre as some have pointed out, it's mostly negative comments for the froot shoops outside of sherdog (they are disgustingly sycophantic over there) anyway.

Do you have an IG or Twitter account where you share your creations? I'll definitely follow you

I used to use sites like flamingtext.com and cooltext.com to do most of my text but for awhile now I've been using the program's text tool and I can do a lot more with it than I could previously, it always seemed underpowered and more trouble than it was worth. Downloading new fonts also helped a lot, most games and movies etc have custom fonts available for free online so you can make your project more authentic

Art can be anything (unfortunately) but hey, let's start a new system were all "art" is brought to you for pre-approval and if it doesn't meet your criteria it gets set on fire or deleted, maybe even both were applicable.
