Yeah, I usually like "shoot" podcasts, but Hogan's word can't be trusted on anything at this point. So his stories of the old days aren't even interesting, because they are all most likely bullshit.
Bret hart wouod be entertaining as the third man. No chance in hell though.
The 3rd man was revealed as Izzy Martinez - a freestyle wrestling coach.
And it's not a podcast - it's some kinda professional (paid) freestyle wrestling fed.
I'm guessing it'll be a thing where the competitors have gimmicks like pro wrestling, but then compete in actual freestyle wrestling.
Interesting idea, but I feel like it won't go that far. Real Pro Wrestling was an organization back in the (I think?) early to mid '00s. Had guys getting paid to do amateur wrestling. They were on teams, had standings, etc. I think it mighta been greco roman? I don't remember. If you remember the short-lived PFL MMA fed ("teams" of fighters, rankings, standings, etc), it was like that, but with wrestling.
Real Pro Wrestling lasted maybe one "sesaon", which was too bad, as I liked it back in the day. But unless this has a really different angle or gimmick, I'm betting this won't fare much better.

I don't know anything about Izzy, but I kinda feel bad for him in a way. The way it was presented, fans were expecting someone they knew...and they didn't get it.

Izzy is probably most known for being a longtime wrestling coach at Jackson/Wink MMA. Well, that's how I know of him at least. Worked with Jon Jones a lot when he was there.
But yeah pro wrestling fans would have no fucking clue who he is. Somehow a bigger letdown of an announcement than if it were yet another podcast.
