Same we never had nice cookware and I do enjoy cooking so I use Le Crueset ECI. Flame is my color!

My wife wanted some new cookware a couple years ago, daughter bought her some expensive rachel ray pretty bullshit. Barely lasted a year. Told my daughter next time just go to salvation army and buy a cheap old porcelain set that will last a life time or just go with cast iron.
