I was not expecting that list at all. Drake at #34, there is hope after all.

Goes to show what type of fans are paying for shows.
Yeah, I guess the younger generation are more likely to just pirate the shows somehow. I am not too savvy on the music biz, are concert tours the big money makes for artists now with pirating going on?

Fake news.
I went to Depeche Mode and I went to Foo Fighters who were way up there on the earnings list but nowhere to be seen on your list apparently?

I refrained from Coldplay and U2 this time round.

I think concerts are the top money earning part of music at this point. Sure there are sponsorships, commercials etc..., but as far as the artists earning money from their work, I think concerts is where it's at.

Fuck, Foos were so damned good. I'm a lifelong Depeche Mode fan since I was 8 but Foos killed them last year.

I'm glad to see real music is still more popular than the Michael Jackson clones they have been pushing so hard since they chased me off in '82. Yet they still persist with it. Why?

I didn't see any of those acts this year.
Although from that list, I've seen GnR, Metallica, Billy Joel, Tom Petty, Elton John, John Mayer

The only "big" act I saw this year was Foo Fighters. I'm surprised they weren't on this list.
