I just don't get how JJ gets the immediate rematch -- she tapped to strikes. I could see if it was a controversial decision, but she was finished, and in devastating fashion. Is everyone else busy?

Yeah pretty much everyone else is booked. The rankings are fucked but to put perspective on the top contenders in that division:
#2 Andrade is scheduled to fight #5 Tecia
#3 Claudia is coming off a loss to Andrade and just started training again at the end of the year
#4 Karolina is scheduled to fight #9 Felice
#6 Carla just came off a close decision with #8 Calvillo two weeks ago
#7 Waterson is coming off back to back losses against Tecia & Rose

So unless they wanted to book a Rose vs Carla Esparza rematch or have Rose sit out for a few months there aren't a ton of options

Agreed, but between Carla getting a relatively hard fought decision win over a green Calvillo and Rose's improvements since their last fight I think Carla probably needs another big win to get a shot

Definitely possible she gets Holloway Aldo II'd, but I'd be surprised if the betting line isn't relatively close

I'm ok with long term champs getting immediate rematched but when they refused to do it with aldo, that shit went out the door imo
