Doubt it man.. that'd mean they have some accountability.Think the intern running their Twitter account last night was fined today?
You think they weren't told to make fun of Meathead?Think the intern running their Twitter account last night was fined today?
You and Ghost Bro make good points. You think they weren't told to make fun of Meathead?
Agree. They have done that with other fighters. Was 100% an attempt to devalue the man imo.
Do you recall any specific cases? I normally avoid their page like the plague.Agree. They have done that with other fighters.
i found it in poor taste of an organisation that wants to legitimise itself as a mainstream sport. It was the most controversial fight of the night and their lighthearted approach shows they'll do nothing to fix the eye poke issue and that's the most disturbing thing about this. It hurts him because there's no mention of how that came to be..the millions looking at it will think he got fucked up, he really just got fucked.I hate Dana. Having said that, how does this tweet hurt Meathead? It gets him in front of thousands/millions. If he cried after that 2nd head showed up, that would be one thing, but he showed his toughness with that monster on there. I don't see any way this devalues him.
Sometimes you guys try too hard.
Dana tried to bury Fedor for not signing with the ufc.Do you recall any specific cases? I normally avoid their page like the plague.
They literally do it to every non UFC fighter that makes a name for themselves.Do you recall any specific cases? I normally avoid their page like the plague.
Ohhhhh yeah..prelim Aljo was such bullshit..They literally do it to every non UFC fighter that makes a name for themselves.
Dana White on Overeem ;
"Anyone who has overeem in their list of top 10 HW's is fukin dumb" "is a fukn idiot" "should be embarrassed", "it's hilarious" spent about 5 straight minutes bagging him out.
This was back when the UFC HW champ was Brock and Dana had Brock as the number 1 HW.
The following year, Dana signed overseen and he utterly destroyed and retired Brock in half a round! Lol.
Then there's Tito, Ken and Frank, Eddie Alverez before he was signed, Roger huerta after he left, Tim Sylvia when fedor beat him, fedor always, and most recently, not words but putting Aljamain Sterling on the prelims on the last fight of his contract after publicly stating that he wanted to test the market.
Didn't the tell him to test the market? They literally do it to every non UFC fighter that makes a name for themselves.

“I don’t want to make it sound like I’m gambling against the UFC, but at the same time, the offer they made me just wasn’t that compelling,” he told MMAjunkie. “I will say that.Didn't the tell him to test the market?
Thanks dawg......forgot about that....“I don’t want to make it sound like I’m gambling against the UFC, but at the same time, the offer they made me just wasn’t that compelling,” he told MMAjunkie. “I will say that.
“For what I’ve done and what I plan to do to this next guy, I just don’t think it’s a compelling enough offer for where I’m going to be compared to the other guys who are ranked in the top five in their division. So I look at those kinds of things to see where I’m at and what’s reasonable.”
Sterling didn’t discuss the proposed figures, but they weren’t enticing enough to get him to re-sign with the sport’s leading promotion. So he’s going to fight out the last bout on his current deal and do what recent UFC winner and ex-champ Benson Henderson is planning to do: test his value on the open market."
Top UFC prospect Aljamain Sterling could be next to test free-agent waters
