He seems to think he won't get his Reebok money & show purse, if true that is a bad look on Reebok/UFC.
Lorenzo-era used to pay full guarantee. WME started with partial, but has given full purse if the fighter did not turn down a replacement fight for same event.
I haven't heard he turned anything down, so this is a bad look

UFC-London's Brad Scott details money woes caused by scrapped fight – and it ain't pretty

With his bout scrapped from the card, Scott was given half his fight purse, ($10,000) by the UFC to help tide him over until his next bout. But the seven-fight UFC veteran said the gesture, though welcome, still left him considerably out of pocket, especially given the fact that he hadn’t received any payment from Reebok for the week.

“It would be really nice if the UFC looked after me and gave me my Reebok money for this week,” he said. “I’ve worn their gear every day this week, and I’ll be wearing Reebok to the fights tomorrow. Even though I can’t compete, I’ll still be there, and I’ll still be wearing Reebok. It’d be nice to get the $5,000, which to a company like Reebok, is (expletive) all, by the way.

Getting paid full show money & sponsorship money if an opponent misses weight or pulls out the week of the fight, is something that should be a contractual obligation. Yet the majority continue to ignore Project Spearhead. Brilliant.

We are on same page
IDK if unionizing is the answer, but why the fuck not look into it?
Maybe it is? most likely it will be.
But not even trying to see the option is amazing.
I can possibly see a 60% needed, but not even getting 30% is amazing IMO

What the UFC does with fighter purses now is disgusting. If a guy shows up on weight and then can't fight because of his opponent the UFC should pay him his full show money and Reebok should pay up also.

At some point these guys need to stand together and protests this kind of BS treatment from the UFC. I mean how many billions was the UFC sold for and these guys get cheated out of their pay? C'mon fighter stand together!

I don't see how it can be any other way. Should be a contractual legal requirement.

Especially at the tiny amounts they're talking about

How the hell can the UFC justify withholding show money? For all they know half the people there bought tickets to see the fighter that now can’t fight. The fans don’t get their money back how can you not pay a guy who’s name you used to sell tickets?

They probably get away with it due to being a contractor rather than an employee. It's disgusting. I've been to fights before where I wanted to see a fight but the fighter's had to pull out for whatever reason and I've not received a refund for part of the ticket price. They're making money hand over fist.
