They've had 3 months to do just that so I think they must have something else in mind as well.I bet they end up reupping with FOX.
I say that because I just dont think ESPN is going to offer what the UFC is hoping. Ratings haven't been very good for a while now. They've had 3 months to do just that so I think they must have something else in mind as well.
Netflix, Hulu, Crackle some kind of streaming service.I say that because I just dont think ESPN is going to offer what the UFC is hoping. Ratings haven't been very good for a while now.
Who else could the UFC go with besides ESPN or FOX?

They're simply doing what every fighter under contract should have been doing for years... Testing the open market.Negotiating tactic, want as much as they can bilk out of tv while watering down product by getting rid of as much as possible
Cable is dying. Full stop. They're pricing themselves out of their own market which is something to see. Directly related to the UFC, it's been incredible to see them make billions in spite of themselves when there are so many better business models than the one they insist on sticking to.so in a way cable is dying and UFC is hitched to it for all non PPVs
I think they will also, and I don't mind. I've liked the coverage they've had on FOXI bet they end up reupping with FOX.
This excites me.the PBR and is working on a new deal with CBS & CBS Sports Network, and working on something similar to FightPass right now also.
Yeah me too... I talked to Sean Gleason yesterday and he said they're trying to get early rounds on some kind of Roku channel also. Maybe even Amazon if it all works outThis excites me.
It's funny, bull riding is probably one of the least thought of sports, but they have such a better understanding of using modern media correctly than almost any other promotion it keeps them at the forefront.Yeah me too...
