Tickets for UFC 213 went on sale about 4 weeks ago. It is the international fight week's grand finale and supposed to be the highlight of the week. It however ended up being headlined by Amanda Nunes defending her belt. The rest of the main card is Damn solid.

Now just last week tickets for UFC 214 went on sale. The main Event is the huge rematch
between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier. The rest of the card is nowhere near the depth or star power of 213. Cyborg is also supposed to be on the 214 card as the co main.

Now here are the sales so far. Tickets were nearly identical prices.

Here is 214 went on sale last week

So what event would you choose to attend of the two?

Personally I want to see Jones vs dc the most.

But overall 213 looks a bit stronger card

UFC 213...The difference in price is known as 'price elasticity'..I remember doing a group assignment when I did Economics 101 at uni and I talked about the UFC and why ticket prices varied so much during events...kicked ass lol

I'd love to see dc jones but can't count on it actually happening and 213 is great all around.

213 Gets my vote. If jones fucks up again the rest of the card isn't good enough to give up all the great fights on 213.

If venues were equal, 213 for sure.
Both venues hold approximately 18,000-19,000 for mma and ticket prices were very close.

Also appears although there is no map. That Bellator ny is doing fairly well with sales. Way less available than just a couple weeks ago.

Jones is about to crack out and run over a bunch of civilians with his car and cancel his comeback again so i say 213 it is

Where do we get maps of available seating for events?

I'd like to keep an eye on UFC and Bellator events. Any guesses as to how good Bellator NYC is doing?

Also, id choose 213. Card is much more solid than 214, which only has the main event as a real must see.

Generally after the initial ticket sale rush Ticketmaster releases a map to select seats. I'm not sure if it is up to the promotion or not if one is released. I have not seen one for the last couple Bellator events. I have been monitoring Bellator NY since I got seats and it seems ticket availability is much less than a week or 2 ago. For example a month ago there was probably 20 options for the $1000 seats. Now there are 5 or so. Same goes for all the price levels down the board.

I chose 214 for the simple fact that 213 looks better on paper. 213 has names and names trying to remain contenders tend to fight conservatively. Robbie and Cowboy are in that situation, as are Reem and Werdum. Nunes/Schevchenko will also be conservative.

214 has DC/Jones, which will likely be a very technical battle and then a bunch of people trying to establish themselves in that limelight. Choi is gonna bring it. Aljo and Barao both have something to prove. Curran always brings it. Lamas is in a squash match. So is Manuwa. Northcutt wants to prove he doesn't suck. That card has fireworks written all over it.

When fighters want the POTN bonus more than a #1 contender spot, the card is guaranteed to be good.

I picked 214 for a few reasons.

Jones-DC is one of the best rivalries in the history of the sport, so I think their second fight will definitely be a more historic event to have attended. You get to see DC, who is one of the best ever in my opinion, and you either get to see Jones return to glory or eat the first legitimate loss of his career (barring shenanigans).

I'd like to see a Cyborg beatdown live.

It's not a shallow card by any stretch, with fun fights all the way down.

It's in Cali, and seeing a UFC event in my home is something I'd really enjoy.

Hard decision MMAHAWK @MMAHAWK , if the DC vs Bones was 100% happening i'll get those (Marquee event etc) but we've been burnt by Jones too much over the years. Could you split out the costs and get cheaper tickets but go to both events? or are they crazy expensive already?

From a event experience I imagine that if DC vs Jones happens then the hype, everything around it during fight weekend would be epic.

I'm actually going to both. I'm last row lower bowl for 213. Tickets cost me $155.
For UFC 214 I'm second row upper level and they cost $100. Actually very good prices for modern day UFC ppv events. Was always planning on attending fight week and 214 is only an hour from me.
