i disabled comments on my YT videos bc its too distracting. i have self-diagnosed OCD and am struggling to read every single comment coming through on hundreds of videos. and it mind fucks me, preventing me from putting everything into new shit

so im gonna experiment by putting a single comment in this one with a link to this thread, telling people that if they want to discuss, to come here (bc the technology here is far superior to the comment section of youtube. so i can periodically check in and it brings me to the last post ive read)

Hey Kev, thanks for the video about the Dragons (they are one of my favorite things on GOT apart from the Direwolves).

Each dragon has its own unique character, Drogon being the alpha, more wild than his siblings (Danerys wasn't quick enough to chain him), bigger and very smart (the way he dodged the Night-king's spear when he flew off, I guess he's got eyes at the back of his head or duper ears)though I doubt in terms of speed against Viserion who is smaller in size but faster.

In the show, Viserion was nice n trusting ( he was the first dragon to laugh at Tyrion's joke before letting him come close to take off the chains) but in the books, I have to re-read it again to know if he was the one that attacked the prince of Dorne ( I have forgotten his name ).

Will Viserion attack his siblings? ( I guess he would, he has a new boss n furthermore he has a grudge for risking his neck to save some people at the wall).

viserion was the one making the cave in the ceiling and the first to approach them. i think they attacked him and he attacked back. and then rhaegal snuck up behind quentyn and burnt his tush =)

as far as "(Danerys wasn't quick enough to chain him)" lol. i hear ya. but i respectfull disagree. i think dragonbonding is a form of slavery and its sad it happens at all. the best example is vhagar and caraxes, who foought to the death (daemon and aemond one-eye)

if you go back a few years, vhagar was previously bonded by the late Laena velaryon, prince daemon's late wife. and they traveled the world together on vhagar and caraxes respectively. but then she dies, aemond one-eye bonds vhagar. and when he shows up to the fight, the draongs (who were presumbly friends, and at least cool with one another) were hissing at one another pre-battle. imo, because dragonbonding is very similar to warging in that the animal and the human exchange souls.

so in a sad turn of events, aemond one-eye bonds (AKA enslaves) vhagar and then fights caraxes to the death

as for turning off comments, that was a good thing that you listened to my advice ( i can imagine the virtual silence in your head the moment you hit that comments off button). people would probably hate me if they knew it was my suggestion , but we need to keep you sane and give you space. something to consider: chat with your patrons on Patron; but as for the questions that you get on regular comments, you can acknowledge them with a "heart" and a quick generic response saying that you will answer it in one of your next Q&A type videos. that will give people satisfaction of being heard and provide interaction if you answer their question on the Q&A video. This will lessen the time you spend on writing a thorough response (because you will not write it then and there, but rather in a video), and it will keep people happy knowing that they are able to comment and ask you questions. They will also see that you interact with people on Patreon and hopefully they will join the team. Gosh that is a lot of words. I guess it is my day to "word" a lot.

thats actually spot on. my intention every time is just to chat on the non-public version of the video. then once its released, heart everyones comments so they know im reading. but verbalize my answers in either QnAs or upcoming topics. like today, i spoiled a bunch of videos im working on with abbreviated answers lol

so this site's technology is sick. most people probably use it like other forums. constantly clicking on the forums, seeing the latest threads with action and joining. but i do it different

i "watch forum" meaning click on the forum you're interested in. cageside (MMA), offtopic (other shtuff), geekground, etc. and then whenever there is a new thread, it is in my notifications. even if im not ready to read or chat, i then "watch thread". so the tab i have saved down on my phone is the "watched threads" page. on there, it shows any thread with a post newer than the last one i read. so if i go to a thread and read through just 4 posts. then i X out. the next time i come on, i got to watched threads, click the thread and it brings me RIGHT to the spot where i left off reading the thread. i have no clue how @Splinty does it. he's a tech wizard for sure tho!

ohhh yeh. im not a poser. this avatar goes to show it. im really big into the star gazing. i dont have a telescope like u, but i like just staring up and feeling humbled about both size and time. its incredible that my life, or rather, the human species life happens in such a small amount of space and time relative to the multiverse as a whole. in a way, ANYTHING divided by infinite is zero. so my life is zero. the human species is NOTHING. and yet, even knowing that, its everything! or rather, the chance to LIVE for even a small amount of time in such a beautiful mystery is truly a gift.

so thats why i love stars. they remind me of how lucky i am to be alive =)

I always dreamed to own a telescope and decided to get one from craigslist (dont have $ for new one). when i saw a star/planet or whatever it was being so close i almost cried. it was blurry as heck but beautiful because it was there and i was here. Looking at the stars is looking at the past - amazing reality (ultimate history channel).
There is a fun informative video about universe that has my kind of odd humor at the end... will look for it and email it to you (if you still have that same email)
it is nice to know someone else speaks my language of "awe for life, vastness of space and appreciation of being alive at such wonderful time for our little space in the universe"

@Missy Cat thats a great video. thats actually the type of content im going to trend towards over time. its evergreen, meaning it is always relevant and collecting views. so far its earned an estimated $4700. and for someone with a background in this, that video could have been made in a single day. even for someone like myself, thats a 2 or 3 day video after doing the research (of course, a very key x-factors is something im lacking. humor)

The idea of fun got me thinking about a new vid i was scripting. It is a tag video for creative self-entertainment and imagination stimulation purposes on the topic of GoT. I'll sent you some info on it tomorrow... I get bored a lot if i don't create something and I love to entertain myself with different things, so this will be my attempt to get the winter blues away.

its webbased. no app. but i use it 99% of the time from my phone. i actuyally learned from the people here that if you click options on a webpage (i do did it for the "watched threads" page instead of the main page), there's an "add to phone homescreen" and it creates a little bookmark icon like an app

I am and you're right they are. I've been waiting for some news to post a thread. The movie was okay but I think it would work better in a series and HBO is just about the best place around for something like that.
