I'll post some that aren't the norm that I have in my collection
Grandville is a beautiful book with beautiful art with classic storytelling along the lines of Sherlock Holmes mixed with Maus and steampunk thrown in. It's really a joy to read.
All Star Superman is for me the idealistic version of the character, who he is and what he does. It doesn't belittle him, it doesn't make him an emo twat or a government puppet or he's not written with an agenda or writers block cheap tricks . It's just Superman being Superman and overcoming adversity.
Captain Britain and MI13 could easily be the basis for the upcoming Captain Britain Netflix series, it was written by a Doctor Who writer, has a great supporting cast and really reboots the character and what he stands for. There's also the fact Blade is in it and it really has a sort of horror thriller vibe to it. When it was running fans loved it but there wasn't enough people buying so sadly it got cancelled. I was gutted.
This 12 issue run of Maverick came out in one of the hardest years of my life and it was one of my only escapes and supports in a weird way. If I read it now I may think differently of it but at the time as a teen it was incredible and very touching in places. I will always love the creative team and Maverick for that.
If you haven't read Invincible just go do it now, I don't know what else to tell you. One day it will be a box office or Netflix smash it's the best superhero comic there is imo
