I like Fantasy books. Right now I'm reading Steven Erikson: Forge of Darkness
He's an amazing writer but the proliferation of female soldiers in this one is annoying. At least most of them are dykes.

My goal is 12-15 books this year. So far I've finished:
Newest book book in both the Bobiverse series and the newest Dungeon Crawler Carl
Wind and Truth by Sanderson
The Great Gatsby. I've read it a few times but it was the 100 year anniversary
A collection of short stories that take place in Montana by authors from Montana
I'm almost finished with First Blood
I've started Infinite Jest but that'll take me awhile

I'm a big fan of Assassin's Creed so last year I read most of the books. I think it was about 12 or 13 books.

This year I've been re-reading some stuff. An Astronauts Guide to Life on Earth by Col. Chris Hadfield. Right now I'm about halfway done with The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck by Mark Manson.

Yeah there's a book for every game, plus a few more that not based on any of the games. But only a couple of them are basically the book version of the game. Some tell the story from a secondary character viewpoint. Some go into way more detail before and/or after the game takes place. I really enjoyed Heresy, which tells the story of Joan of Arc so its not based on any of the games.

Currently re-reading the “Infected” trilogy by Scott Sigler. Finished book 2, “Contagious”, last night and started book 3, “Pandemic”.

I once again recommend Malazan Book of the Fallen for anyone into fantasy and military themes. It kicks off with the chain of dogs.
