I can limit signature length so that those wanting signatures 'on' can have a reasonable surfing experience.

How many lines is a fair line for user expression vs hindering reading the forum?

There are some that I find a bit off putting because they are soooooo big. I'd say 1-2 lines. It's like at work when I get an email from a co-worker with company logo and quotes and all kinds of nonsense it's like uhhhh, ok.

Short and sweet!

I've eliminated a lot of things (and some people) from popping up where i can see them. Turning off the email was the best.

we dont need them here because we
can convey a message on the avatar when you click on it
