It does. I hope a text banner won't send all traffic off the site. People post news and stories in the forum all the time. How do they go find those? This is simply a way to see some headlines when you are already at TMMAC.

Scraping too much makes enemies and is not fair to authors (hence the direct link) instead of just grabbing everything.
Perhaps it'll spur some initiative for that topic to be brought up and discussed by the users here
