I don't know. I asked, and the doctor said, "you don't need to know that", which is doctor-speak for "I don't know, even though I have tons of your blood work in front of me".
I asked a different doctor years later, and I got a straight-up "I don't know", because apparently it's not reported with any blood work unless specifically requested (which, since it is identifying information, makes no sense to me).
I tried to donate blood once, and the blood banks were full. Since then it's just been coincidences of medications and other issues keeping me from donating. But I don't know of they would tell me either. :-(
Another favorite doctor response of mine: "I think I know what that is, and you don't need to worry about it."
Now that I am older, I think I handle these situations better, so I will ask the next time I go to a doctor. Thanks for reminding me.
