I just saw a couple days ago that Hawk Tuah’s SEC investigation was closed with no findings against her. Basically, said she was played by the company behind the coin. I forget the exact numbers, 15 minutes after launch she was up on paper almost $50 million before it burned. She had %10 of all profits but couldn’t personally sell for 1 year. Meanwhile 10 other wallets owned %97 of the coins and had zero restrictions which rugged everyone in 20 minutes.

makes sense, wonder if her pr company was the one that even allowed it and she had no clue what she was signing, trusting the people around her.

Hawk and her PR team seem to have gotten used to be the face of someone else’s scam. Just naive. On paper she made $0 unless she somehow is linked to one of the 10 wallets. I think that Coffeezilla YouTuber identified all 10 from the companies involved records as they were well known in that meme coin world.

She’s supposedly working with a documentary filmmaker on crypto corruption.

In the future, when historians are writing about the decline and fall of western civilization I wonder if her viral rise will be used as one of the key indicators. Or will they ignore that and just reference her election to the presidency in the 2040's.
