It's 100 fucking degrees out, a freak wind came through & demolished my tunnel.

I've bought 8 different gawtdamn staple guns from Lowe's, Home Depot, Amazon & True Value.
Every single gawtdamn one has been a piece of shit, only buring staples 1/2 way in.

$10-$100, mechanical or corded, absolute shit.
Fuck this fucking fucking fucking tunnel.

The only time I've seen one work well is when it's pneumatic one. Otherwise, it's a stapler in one hand and a hammer in the other.

I need to look at this with new eyes and see what can be, unburdened by what has been.

It would be tedious but, hammer and very small nails?
It sure the heck is tedious.
First go I put in a whole bunch of cable staples and hammered them all in.

I'm going to run to home depot and pick up an M18 Milwaukee fencing stapler, Use it and then return it.

Maybe that design isn't right for your location and weather
That is what I might rethink if I was you

Plus big boy plastic lol

Can you not put the plastic between two pieces of wood that are fastened together eliminating the need for staples at all?

That's a good suggestion and exactly what I did last time around, That's the only way to go about it in my opinion.
However before I could get my c*** sucking m***** ******* piece of s*** a** stapler to work, The wind took the mother sucker away.

I should add, my compressor took a shit, so my nail gun is irrelevant.
And hammering in "feels like 110" is not an option.

Is it at a bad angle for wind shear? Could it be rotated 90°? I dont know how permanent it is, nor if things are planted under it
Moving it is not an option.
It's in a great spot as far as wind shear & sun.
I needed to get that Dang thing up months ago, but my...."circumstances" have prevented me from accomplishing my goals.
Now it's hotter than a fresh fucked fox in a forest fire.

Roofers stapler.
You can swing it like Thor's hammer.

This is what I take to the range.

The staples nor the staplegun are the issue. I don't have a solution but I have flown a many tarp and the only thing that keeps them grounded is weight. Maybe some sandbags. Then you can start fucking around with nails and shit.

Sandwich 2 pieces of wood on either side of the plastic and join them together with screws.

Anything else will likely fail.

To answer your question - the only staple guns i've found to work well are pneumatic. Senco is my preferred manufacturer.
