I knew a chick in the navy. She wanted to be an officer. More specifically a fighter pilot. I always shrugged it off as unrealistic aspirations she would never achieve. Seeing as she was a bit fat and useless.

One day she came to me in the smoking area one day and the CO had agreed to have her go somewhere and do some preliminary tests. She was very nervous, but I assured her not to worry and just give it her best and chase her dreams.

Turns out I was right.
