interesting
I'm all for less taxes and good for the people who benefit from this, but I'm having trouble squaring in my head why that form of income should be any less appropriate to be taxed when other people have to pay taxes on all the money they earn in a different way.

I'll be super interested in the no tax on OT. Would have been a gamechanger for me. My regular schedule was 96hrs, not to mention trainings and meetings and shit. I'd usually have 120 by end 9f pay period. Covering extra after that was just a net loss as taxes ate everything.

That makes more sense to me than the no tips one. Especially since the people who work for tips generally have a very low wage, but they can make a significant amount in tips. So a bartender's paycheck wages almost certainly do not exceed the minimum for any income tax to kick in, but a lot of them are taking home 90k, 100k+ so now they have zero income tax burden.
