Yeah, I got this all fucked up. 1 lawmaker in critical condition, 1 lawmaker and spouse dead, last I heard.
Early blame from the left was on Trump - predictably.
It's starting to look like this was a punishment for going against party lines.

Not sure if it's true, but one of the tweets says she voted with Republicans as a representative and he voted with them in the senate.
