Mom says he makes things seem so effortless. But if you read the thread, he's constantly hustling.

Here's his YouTube channel where he rebuilds vintage vehicles, mowers, bicycles and tractors.

I'll be checking out that YouTube channel. Repairing and rebuilding old petrol (gas) powered stuff is the kind of thing I watch to relax.

I have a kid that worked for me like that, he buys broken snowmobiles and 4 wheelers on facebook, fixes them and flips them. He's 18 and has almost 100,000 in his savings account.

Same. I can barely change a tire but watching them pull and crank 1000 times till they get a start is surprisingly satisfying.

Have you seen any of Mustie1's videos?

He's the OG on YouTube when it comes to resurrecting old generators / snow blowers / dirt bikes / ATV's etc. etc. Been doing it for well over a decade now.

I watched the quick video of the John Deere hit and miss engine, it was mostly a montage of photos with a bit of video added in. The video clip showed him removing the piston, you know an engine is properly siezed when you need an air chisel to get the piston out lol.

I'll keep an eye on his channel, see if he gets more serious about making the videos. Great to see someone his age hustling for money via old fashioned elbow grease.

And if you're not mechanically inclined, still enjoy this kinda stuff, and wanna have your mind absolutely bottled, go watch an engineering video or two explaining how the six-stroke combustion process Honda (I think?) has patented works.

Good grief. lol

I see this kid on IG all the time - his old man has taught him well. More than once he's gone to what looks like a wrecking yard (think it's just his dad's field) with the idea of "my dad said if I can get this running, he said I could drive it".

He's a better mechanic than about 95% of the guys at your local shop.

He's got two YouTube channels. Speed Bump Garage is him fixing old cars and trucks and tractors. Watch Jack Grow is about him farming.
