Actually saw first one few days ago. Started good with dog killing , then it was all fighting until the end , but watchable.
So I'll give 2nd one a try too.

Back to the movie.
I missed the whole meaning with the markers. So why did D'Antonio or whatever the Italian dude's name was have a marker from John Wick?
I thought that made sense for the character. No name gives the impression of less love for the dog making it a weak target for those wishing to hurt him deep. Learned his lesson and got a nameless killer as a side kick, beautiful.
In the first movie they talked about Wick getting out by "completing an impossible task"
The marker was given to D'Antonio by Wick for helping him to complete that task.
The Horse that is Prizey is going to be so pissed if he ever comes into this thread, lol.
If there's a part three I fully expect to the dog to have at least one kill. Probably the end fight saving Wick from certain doom them before it's over well get a name.

Because he's like a film critic and we're talking about the depth and nuances of a movie I'm sure he would think is utter trash.
Prize would be wrong. Keanu doesn't make trash.
He does however make movies where he's named John.

He went to see La La Land twice and has his tanning salon play Gone with the Wind on the tanning bed screen while he's getting bronzed up.
He's a pretentious faggot from New Jersey, and if he can't appreciate a damn good action flick, then fuck him and Bruce Springsteen.
Not as good as wick but it's not too bad if you have some time to blow.

Hey Baby Boy , I can make a better action movie than that. What else was there except just killing and killing and killing.
There was no mystery . Plot was simple . He need to kill the murderer of his dog , and everybody knew he would kill him in the end.
So that happened .
But that's the great thing. A stripped down action movie but it was still amazing.
It didn't need mystery or a twist.
and both the fighting and gun play scenes were exceptional. You've just described the perfect action movie. Lots of action, minimal plot. You sound like my buddy that thought The Accountant was the best action movie ever made.
Well no denying action was good , that's why I'll watch part 2 .
So what's your beef?
