Thats going back isnt it? Wasnt he on one of the early 90s shows talking about mob stuff?
Yeah, that sounds about right. He may be still alive, or maybe died more recently.
But either way, his uncle was Nino Gaggi who was a Gambino capo and led the infamous Roy Demeo crew (who did hundreds of murders). If you YouTube Dominic’s name you’ll see some stuff available and he was in a lot of those 90s documentaries. Kind of like the Sopranos, his uncle Nino was his father figure and led him into the life.

he was also a musician when he was a kid (almost had a famous band), and a special forces Vietnam vet. And then a bunch of crazy mafia shit. He eventually turned and cooperated, but never got taken out. Later in life he struggled with drugs and alcohol pretty bad, and ended up as some sort of hippie painter out in California.

I found him interesting as shit. Once you see who I’m talking about, you’ll pic him up in all kinds of mob shows/docs.

Sammy also just did a podcast with TFATK. I had to turn it off because Shaub is such a douche. McAllen was hooked up by the Valuetainment guy that did one of the first Sammy interviews a few years ago.

Dominic passed away last year I believe. He was a great story teller as well.

That sounds about right. Looking on YouTube now, just last year there was a documentary about him released called “the Lynchpin of Bensonhurst”. Can only find the trailer on YT, but I need to watch that one.

over the last 20+ years, I occasionally go down deep in to the wormhole of mob docs

Bunch of former mob guys who knew Henry and have done interviews on YouTube say Ray Liotta & Goodfellas really made Henry look better and more important that he really was. They say he was an alcoholic, drug addict, who was into lower level nickel dime shit. I found him to be funny in interviews that he did though. Just a troubled man.
Henry & a whole bunch of mob guys were placed by the feds up here witness protection.
Henry never stopped doing stupid stuff, he was basically a running paycheck for the feds.
My uncle got busted with him in a ring over a freakin 2-year investigation up here.
The bust was a WHOLE MILLION DOLLARS.
The feds probably spent 10 times the net on the investigation & undercover work.
Taxpayer dollars gaining ground on a treadmill.
ATF kicked down the door to my mom's house & held the whole house at gunpoint for basically nothing.
My brother thought it was me playing a prank & opened the door to a rifle barrel in his face.

I went to a lot parties, I was an "acquaintance" of a group of skinheads. The people I knew were legit "race warriors", then their younger brothers tried to form their own gang when the guys I knew started getting locked up. It was the younger group that got picked up with Sammy stealing cards

Pen1 was actually started here in long beach which is some weird trivia for a left wing AF city.
