I had pneumonia last month.

I was bed ridden for 2 weeks.

Only been out of bed about 3-4 weeks now.

They figure I had some sort of "walking pneumonia" for about a month but really didn't know it.

I just felt tired, had a cough, run down, thought maybe I was not sleeping enough, working too hard etc.

Then in the space of 2 or 3 days I started to have a terrible cough, chunks of stuff coming up, burning chest and throat, blood etc.

My Wife took me to my Doc who immediately sent me to hospital.

X-Rays showed pneumonia.

A few hours in hospital and they made the assessment that with anti-biotics puffers, inhalers, and the fact that I had IVs going while I waited I would be allowed to go home instead of be admitted as my Wife was off work and could watch over me and report back if anything went sideways.

For 2 weeks I slept about 20+ hours a day, took pills and puffers 6X a day and that was pretty much all I woke up for.

It happens, it comes on quick.
Glad you recovered pal. Some scary shit.

Not to shit on Ben, but he was intentionally arrogant and abrasive during his career. He shit on every promotion he was in, while he was still in them. I'm sure he has lots of fans and admirers but he pissed off alot of people that are in a position to help now. It is a little surprising nobody inside the mma sphere is getting off the couch, but here we are.

He'll always be golden with the wrestling community. To be fair the mma community is filled with half tards, rednecks and the most fickle fans possible...

"A double lung transplant is a surgical procedure where both diseased lungs are replaced with healthy lungs from a deceased donor. It is a treatment option for individuals with severe, irreversible lung damage or failure when other treatments have not been successful"

Sounds like his lung damage is irreversible.

My pneumonia lasted 7 days but it wasn't so bad they found it with chest x rays. in 2016 had blood in my phlegm and was sweating the most I ever sweated in my life it soaked my sheets. I had to lie in bed for 7 days I could not move I was on strong cough medicine for my non stop cough my chest was on fire.
