I'm really looking forward to seeing how Rory performs in Bellator. He had some major mileage put on the odometer over the last few fights.
If records mean anything, there are some potential big mismatches on the under-card.
11-1 vs 14-14 really jumps out and 17-5 vs 4-1 is a pretty huge experience gap. I don't know the fighters. Are these just squash matches to build up promising guys?
Haven't looked at them, unless I'm about to mention one below. Sometimes a 4-1 or emerging name can have a lot of ammy fights, though, so the pro record can be misleading -- and fighters that did fight ammy often have a significant number of fights not listed on web-archive databases. CA "CAMO" league is very high level for ammy -- higher, imo, than smaller shows in the midwest, i.e. ammies who have success in CAMO are basically compiling the same or better experience as many fighting in crap-level shows in Europe, Brasil, Midwest, South, etc., though with ammy rules and round lengths.
A good fighter who has had tough match-ups at 4-1 & solid ammy experience isn't at a disadvantage against a guy with 15 fights who has fought all scrubs in low rent shows.
But. also, Bellator's untelevised undercard fighers may be making $700/$700 so....
