First three episodes of Andor S2 dropped a couple days ago. Watched 'em last night.

So a few things - EXTREMELY FUCKING BORING. Parts of S1 were boring, but holy fuck, this was on another level. The whole Mon Mothma getting drunk (high?) and raving to space EDM was also weird.
Mostly though, I just prefer to not have attempted RAPE in STAR WARS.

Is Andor even any good? I've heard mixed reviews.
Depends what you're into.
Some people didn't like it because parts of it were indeed slow and drama-heavy. Others didn't like it because they didn't feel it was traditional "Star Wars" - no Force, jedi, lightsabers, etc.
Personally, I loved S1. It shows a COMPLETELY different side of the rebellion...the dark & dirty side...showing that you sometimes have to do horrible, despicable things for the "greater good".
I will say that both Andy Serkis and Stellan Skarsgard each have scenes with monologues that are absolutely fantastic - top tier stuff.
You could youtube them to see them, and they'd be good...but not nearly as much so if you hadn't watched the show and experienced the buildup to each.

I've heard from good folk it's damn good. Personally, couldn't make it passed episode 1. I need to try again. I had the same problem with the Wire but I powered through eventually. No rugrats.
If you're gonna try Andor, it's really best if you try to binge it, Get into and stay with it as it's slow developing early on. If you try to go just an episode here or there, you'll never get into it. But if you can stick with it, it's worth it.
That said, I don't like what they put into S2. Star Wars doesn't need that (even if it wasn't explicit).

The first half of s1 is kinda donkey balls. The 2nd half is some of the best dystopian sci-fi to ever air.
YMMV
