Bisping not fighting Rockhold nor Weidman has eye on someone else

I don't think anyone is arguing that Jacare is 1. But 1 doesn't always fight the champ or produce the most sellable fight and despite how they promote themselves UFC is a business in it to make money. Examples previously would be
letting Conor get a shot at RDA despite never having fought that weight class, Chael fighting Jones, Holm fighting Rousey over Tate.

letting conor fight RDA would have been champion vs champion so that reasonable IMO and Holm rousey made some sense seeing as Miesha had already lost to rousey a few times. But hendo is ranked 13th meaning there are 12 people the ufc put ahead of him, I just think its kind of ridiculous to throw all order out the window to make that fight. I would love to see it but I dont think it really helps legitimize the sport if you disregard the rankings that much.

Ah the rankings are trivial anyway. They shuffle them for fights all the time. I mean the same rankings have Tim Kennedy at 10 and he hasn't fought since 2014, Lyoto Machida is ranked 7 and is 2-3 in his last 5 and hasn't fought in a year, and Anderson Silva (much respect) is 0-3-1 NC and hasn't won a fight since 2012. I agree Jacare deserves it most but rankings are overrated.

I think that's the fight they're trying to make. From a rankings perspective, it makes no sense. But it has a legit story line and will sell more than Jacare or Weidman would.

Agreed. Bisping getting a chance to avenge his most devastating loss makes for a great story line and will help sell PPVs

I think Bisping wins it this time. But then again, every time I think father time will catch up to Hendo, he H-Bombs somebody...so who knows.

Bisping new damn well that punch was coming last time.......just got caught with it.......I don't see him getting caught with it again but hopefully we can see this fight happen
