Let's start with the definition insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. This guy has missed weight FIVE times! He's even missed once at lightweight, for crying out loud. So unprofessional. No, Dana. Stick to your fuckin' guns on this one.

“Me and my manager have been in this war with the UFC. I really want to go back to 145. I had to move up to 155, but that’s not where I want to be. I won against Will Brooks and then I asked to drop down again. I fought Paul Felder and I ended up losing. His strength was a really big difference. He’s much stronger than me. That’s why I want to move back. That’s where I feel comfortable.”

Although the UFC hasn’t told him if he could be back to the featherweight division anytime soon, Oliveira still believes he’ll be able to do it in the future. For now, however, the Brazilian is focusing on bouncing back from the Felder KO loss and on bettering himself for when the time to move arrives. According to Charles his best has yet to come.

“That’s what I tell everyone who trains with me. They haven’t seen me at 100% yet. I really want to go back to 145. I’m sure that if I come back, people will be surprised with the new Charles. I’m evolving and growing all the time. In this year of 2018 I may win one, two or three fights and find myself with a title shot.”

Doesn't matter what weight class he chooses to miss. He wilts under pressure. He's very talented but he lacks heart

"His strength was a really big difference. He’s much stronger than me."

Then do some strength training.

"That’s where I feel comfortable.”

Obviously not, or you'd comfortably and consistently make weight.

I really don't understand this dude. Or Gastelum. They constantly miss weight at one weight class, then cry about going back to it. Especially Gastelum, dude looks 10x better at MW than WW but always says he wants to go back down. Just why?

I don't think he wilts or lacks heart, he just is one of those guys that has body gives him many advantage in striking offense and jits offense but also his body is so skinny that he is not built to take crushing body shots like Cub gave him, or crushing strikes to the head, he's too small boned and delicate.

BTW, I actually would love to see Aloe Vera back at 145. There is a difference with him and all the other weight offender guys like Hendricks and Kelvin those are chunky stocky guys. Aloe Vera with a decent diet coach can make 145 easy. I actually want to see him at 145.

I remember his early fights at 155 his first stint there, he could not even weigh in at 155 he was constantly coming in at 151 and crap, he's tiny for 155, just look at the guy.
