They are putting their names out there to see how much they are worth. If you were 50 and someone put a million dollars in your face to fight would you not take it? Just because they may be rich doesnt mean they dont want more money.

I personally dont want to see either of them fight again but if they do I will tune in. Bellator has made a name for themselves the last 3 years throwing huge money at guys like them.
If taking that mill meant I was going to get embarrassed and my brain even more scrambled than it already was then no...

I wouldn't mind watching either of them BUT...it would have to be a veterans division. No way i wanna see my favs getting destroyed by somone 1/2 their age. Henderson, Cote, Penn, couture and a few others would round out that old man roster well.

Wait
Some fighters are dumb??!
Say it ain't so!!!
Nooooooooo
Lol. I'm glad some people choose to get punched in the face for a living , but still after seeing Alvarez's & poirier's faces last night..makes me wonder. People like J. Andrade ... have way more heart than sense.

It's hard to understand the ramifications of further scrambling your brain when the brain you're using to analyze that is already scrambled. :(

I'm not a believer in the "let the fighters fight however long they want, it's their lives" outlook. Guys like Chuck need people looking out for them. Unfortunately, most will not do that, including family members, who stand to benefit from a big payday.

Anyway, I think you're right, this is no coincidence. They might not be hurting at the moment, but I'm sure Chuck and Matt are looking at the not-too-distant future and getting a bit worried. It would be nice if the new owners could devise real jobs for them instead of just dropping them. I mean, make them work for the money, and make the work meaningful. They can take it or leave it in that case. But WME has its own agenda, and honoring the contributions of a couple of legends isn't on it.
