I've been there before. Saw Old 97's a few years ago out there. It's every bit as awesome as you think it's going to be.

The wife got altitude sickness while we were out there. Basically just a steady headache.I wanted to see cypress hill perform there but I couldn't get time off to fly to colorado which a surprisingly cheap flight from LAX. Love the beer culture in Colorado. Great food too. The altitude messed with me a little last time I went.
The locals told her to drink a shit ton of water. She was better after a day or two and was fine the rest of the trip (we were out there a week)
I am going to see Tool at the end of January.

Saw the Monsters of Rock show in Germany I think in 87 or 88. Maiden headlined on their Seventh Son tour. Remember going with a few friends and waiting in line hearing that no bottles were allowed inside. We managed to down a half-gallon of JD with the help of a few krauts. Killer concert. I remember reporting to formation Monday morning with a band-aid on my left ear. The platoon sergeant ripped it off to reveal 3 fake diamond studs. I think I got 2 weeks extra duty after I removed them right there. Fuckin' worth it.

Saw Paco de Lucia at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. Can't remember what year, but was incredible. Saw Yngwie Malmsteen open for AC/DC on the For Those About to Rock tour. Almost shite meself in Philadelphia. Saw Dead Can Dance at the Trocadero in Philly. Also White Zombie. My shitty car's window got smashed and a bunch of cd's got stolen, but I didn't give a fuck 'cause the concert was that good.
@Robbie Hart Anyone who slaps a red X on that comment has NEVER seen Iron Maiden in concert.

By the way - Red Clay Strays are going to be HUGE. Dude can fucking sing. Crazy talented and they put on a great show. 100% check them out if they come to your area. They won't be an opening act for long - and after a year or two they'll likely be in arenas instead of the smaller venues they are booking now. They're that good.

Foo Fighters fucking killed it last night.
Opening act was Mammoth - they went on early and I only caught 2 or 3 songs but they sounded great too. Definitely going to check out their stuff.
Middle act was The Pretenders. Chrissie Hynde is 72 years old and I was absolutely floored with how good she sounded. Simply amazing.

@Hauler - I surprised my wife with Aerosmith tickets for our 21st anniversary last month. They had rescheduled from March to Sept, so it was going to be perfect. Gave her the tickets (and the D), she was so excited. Bought her outfit, etc. Then they announce Tyler has to retire & it’s cancelled.
That sucks.
I've seen them twice. The best show was either the PUMP tour or Permanent Vacation - don't remember which. But I remember Black Crowes opened for them when they just released Money Maker. Awesome fucking show. I'm guessing that was 1990 or 1991. High school Hauler got Deeeeeee-Runk. And laid.
Not sure how good they were at the end - but in their day Aerosmith fucking rawked In concert.
Black Crowe’s still opening for them! Or were anyway. I woulda loved to have seen them.
I still listen to Chris Robinson's Brotherhood. Some damn good tunes.
She Talks To Angels was always my go-to Karaoke song when I’d get shit faced. It made the lot lizards panties drop in the bars I frequented.
I can play that intro on guitar, although it gets difficult when any female within earshot is diving at my johnson.
Seeing The Vandoliers tonight. Very small venue.
