I'm glad he pulled that last gig off. I'd say he's the end of an era, but he outlived that era.

I didn’t realize he was only 76. I would’ve bet he was at least 130. I think it was 1992 when he was calling the No More Tears tour, the No More Tours tour. He was gonna give it up back then and still went another 30 years. What a legend. The dude lived a hard partying life. Sharon kept him grounded or he wouldn’t have made it to 40.

RIP.
