LOL $34 million losses on a company now worth 4 billion.......and it's called "investment". The majority of Football clubs (soccer) have debt and there really aren't that many big sides that break even, yet players are earning a fortune, managers and other staff getting paid too and they can still afford to buy players.

If anyone could've done it they would have, but all we got besides Dana was Scott Coker's now defunct org and his current one that is taking 2 steps back for each step forward. Sure the UFC might have flourished under different management but that's just speculation. What we do know is the UFC took a niche sport and made it mainstream, and Dana was definitely a big part of that.
That's a cute frame, LOL.

There is no $4 billion if they sell or go bankrupt, which they were about to do. Without TUF, none of that happens. BLAF was against TUF. Not really sure how else to explain that.

You're pushing BLAF propaganda about Coker & Strikeforce.

Here is another perspective:

The Death of Strikeforce: The Oral History of the UFC's Great Alternative, Pt. 2

I get it: you like Dana White. That's great, bro. Enjoy!

People who put an over emphasis on marketing, business, or who actually believe bullshit mantras like, "It's just business" are exactly what's wrong with the world. Yeah, it plays a role, but fuck treating it like a religion, fuck anyone who treats it like a religion, & fuck anyone who doesn't see the ridiculous pitfalls of marketing & consumerism.

Like I said before, the great business god BLAF was against TUF. He deserves no credit for it. See my other post. Here's an example of BLAF's pre-TUF marketing genius:

I'm an atheist, homie. Trust me, I don't treat anything like religion.

Marketing works, you don't have to like it.

I don't even know you. Why would I trust you? ;)

Of course marketing works. No one disputes that. Like I said, I don't trust people who put an overemphasis on marketing or say stupid shit like, "It's only business" as an excuse to make $$$ & fuck people over.

As for if you treat it like a religion or not, well, that's on you. But if you believe it's infallible, spend lots of time doing it, & spend time looking up to CEO's marketing GURUS, well, you may wanna do some (non) soul search...bro.

Oh yeah, & BLAF still sucks & got lucky.

Hi there
I didn't read every post, so I apologize if things are already covered.

DW is going nowhere. WME are his agents & love him.
You can see by the fact they are branding the Tuesday shows with his name they see him as valuable.

The $1.1b investment to WME comes on the heels of WME going up almost 15% in value since purchasing UFC.
As I tried telling others on a different board (that insist UFC/WME are dying) just owning UFC makes WME more valuable as an entity.

WME is using "part" of that investment to buy out enough minority owners to give them 51% of UFC.
That is an amazing sign since WME has been negotiating with Fox for a new distribution deal in US starting 01/19.
So the fact they want to buy others out NOW (before the deal gets released) is a great sign.

Also in this "bad" year of UFC, they will still bring in over $100m in profits
