I would rather see Gus fight DC again than a MW moving up. DC is great, but his time is limited. He will likely retire within the next calendar year. Gus is the only man to beat Jones and should be more active so he can take the belt from DC, or take it after he retires. He’s not gonna gain a title shot by beating Rockhold, imo.

Averages about 2.5 fights annually and that's including his pro debut which happened in Sept of 2009 and 2018 which is 6 weeks in. What are these breaks you speak of? Seems pretty steady IMO.
