He's admitted that he hasn't, due to partying. Made a comment something like he's beaten all of these guys without training like he should have. Can't remember the exact quote but he discussed it on Rogans podcast.
Oh yeah, in the past. I'm talking about recently. On the Rogan podcast he spoke about his past, and said that he had moved forward and was focused on fighting. I'm not saying the dude deserves any benefit of the doubt, but we don't really have any indication that his shit isn't together from the last year.

If the current JJ is the dedicated JJ then fair enough. Still in GOAT contention. But if he can kick all the shit surrounding him personally, then i think a loss is what he needs to come full circle
I think if that loss comes, honestly, I think he beats DC and loses to Gus. There's something about that Gus matchup that is scary when I think of it as a Jon Jones fan. I think DC is the second best light heavyweight fighter of all time, and perhaps a top 10 p4p guy of all time, but I don't like the Jones matchup for him. We will see, though. Dude definitely has a chance.
