I am totally fine with this. While Elon is smart and really knows how to put a top performing team together, his time in government should have been short regardless of that fact. We do want our government to perform, but I am not sure I trust Elon past a certain point. Its not all just numbers. There is no doubt plans he has already shuttered that probably could have stayed open and maybe even should have. There is context. Now, scrapping transgender painted turtle studies, sure scrap it. But like we were talking earlier, Job Corps, and things like that, I think its worth stopping and really being sure the correct choice is made.

Elon was a great catalyst. He has successfully changed the minds of many when it comes to government accountability, but I dont think I would want him in such a role long term.

Agreed, I believe the original plan was to wind down DOGE before 7/4/26. Surprised it happened this quickly. But we knew it was coming.

if accurate Trump is correct, he has been very adamant about removing the ev mandate, this should not have been a surprise to elon

Musk may have thought the Doge thing was real, turns out it was a scam considering the BBB.

Complete waste of his time, which is amoung the most valuable in the world.
