I honestly think RICO cases are being put together and although that takes time, it wipes out entire criminal enterprises.

The Italian mafia would say yes. Problem is, they were replaced with other mafias...government officials, both foreign & domestic.
The numbers racket, replaced by the lottery (that can be taxed & laundered).
Sports betting. Guys running a booking operation in their neighborhoods were given 30 years in prison, so the Gov't could legalize gambling, tax it, get their kickbacks.
Extortion. The Italian mafia was great at it. Governments are experts, using bribery & blackmail to get what they want.
Drugs. Gov't allows cartels to operate, and cartels pay politicians handsomely to do so.
Prostitution. How much $ have politicians received from their involvement in sex trafficking?
Fraud.
And the list goes on....
Nothing we can do but see what happens. I remain confident we're going to see mass arrests.
