Does that mean I would have to turn in my Gatling gun?

I use that for protecting the house......

iirc gatling guns use some sort of loophole to avoid being illegal.

found this on the net

A Gatling gun is actually not technically a machinegun. ... Surprisingly, in most states owning a hand cranked Gatling gun is legal as a replica historical piece. The limit is the caliber of the round that you build it. In Washington state you can build or own one up to 35mm where most are either .22 or .45–70

Swalwell proposes that the government should offer up to $1,000 for every weapon covered by a new ban, estimating that it would take $15 billion to buy back roughly 15 million weapons

Gun people clearly not good at math... especially when spitting daggers at their screen.

Average QUALITY rifle runs around $2k.

The militias the left talk about that no longer exist.... this is how you create them.

So you think people reading it can't work out a thousand million is a billion... Then multiply it by 15?

They'll never get my bazookas and mortars. I need them for home defence.

Well, for one you said "gun people". Swalwell is anti-gun people. Secondly, I'm saying that your average, quality built rifle will run from $1500-$2000, so he is telling us we'll lose money while giving up our weapons... not gonna happen.

an ar-15 is actually a valid home defense tool it is more accurate than a pistol and has better optics like red dot.

the criminals will also have most pistol owners out gunned.

here an L.A county it is very easy for a criminal to get rifles in 7.62 calibers and we have to fire back with pistols with retarded 10 round mags or shittier shotguns with out tactical grips stocks etc.

A buy back is probably the best way to get them to be turned in, but FMV won't work. Probably need to offer 2x what the gun is worth to get people to play along.

But step 1 would probably be to destroy guns seized in arrests instead of auctioning them back to the public.

Focusing on guns is the popular stance, but the more effective target would be the ammunition. I'm surprised they haven't instituted a monstrous tax on gunpowder yet.

I enjoy shooting guns as a hobby, but if it's $5 a round - nah. Although if someone has a badass 50 cal sniper I'd gladly pay 4x that to squeeze off a few shots. Haha.

Are NBC gun people? Think they wrote that bit.

I think all guns are silly

They can have my AR-15 as long as they don't come for my wheels.
