They'll never get my bazookas and mortars. I need them for home defence.
These people don't understand that I need my AR-15 and my AK-47 to defend my home from petty burglars.

Also, what if I'm walking my kids and we get attacked by a god damn coyote???

yeaah right... ar owners are going to just give up their guns, this foo trying to start a civil war?
yep

that would do it

I don't own one anymore but if I did I would not be keen to have it pried from my hands or home

Most likely thing going on is that guy gets kickback in some form from the billions of dollars that a "bill" like this makes for arms manufactures.

Every time shit like this hits the news gun lovers and preppers fill the gun stores and buy them out.

Talking about disarming actually increases the arming of the country.

It would take martial law and home to home search...and the moment that happens the "american dream" ends and the masses realize we aren't or weren't free after all....Mofos would stop paying taxes and shit would get real ugly real fast.

and disarming this country would be impossible because a lot of the people(LEO/Military) going door to door would be gun owners and likely not willing to take part in such a move.

Gun control talk sells more guns than you could imagine.

I bet Cabelas has best day in months today

Well, for one you said "gun people". Swalwell is anti-gun people. Secondly, I'm saying that your average, quality built rifle will run from $1500-$2000, so he is telling us we'll lose money while giving up our weapons... not gonna happen.
I bought a colt M4 for 1200 and sold it for 2500...I did it right after a gun control agenda hit the news....prices skyrocketed on black market

this agenda increases value far above 1000 IMO, and makes guns change hands and thus even more difficult to track

IF they want a buyback they will get a portion of the ARs but they will need to offer far above value....impossible to get them all IMO, regardless of price offered

Zeph @Zeph we don't have open carry in Florida so I'm trying to find the best way to conceal my assault weapons.

Let me know what you think:

A)

or

B)

A is a little more discreet but B would have me ready a little faster to defend my family from the coyote pack.

I don't need any of that AR bullshit, give me an old Remington and I'll knock the middle out of a toonie at a quarter mile, no scope and half in the bag from Screech and coke.

Maybe you could just challenge the burglars to a match at their local gym.

LOL

The annual cuck democrat who wants a name for himself will get lobbyist kickbacks in campaign donations.
And said lobbyist picked up a thousand shares of gun stock, and will sell high a week after this failure.

Sounds like it would work, honestly
Prohibition didn't work. Stopping prostitution hasn't worked. The war on drugs over the past 40 years hasn't worked.

And this wouldn't work either. People will still get their hands on them. They just won't be purchased at gun stores & won't have serial numbers.
