Libertarianism being pushed as a serious political philosophy in the third decade of the 21st Century is fucking ridiculous.
It's an ideology which is for pre-electricity agrarian societies.
We live in a global society of billions, and most countries count their populations in the tens or hundreds of millions. How does that work in a libertarian government model? Ever seen a libertarian actually attempt to outline how any of it would work in the real world? Me neither.
Also, every single issue that BeardOfKnowledge constantly cries about, is made much MUCH worse under the likes of Ron Paul. Which is why most people begin to grow out of that phase once they're past their teens.
But yeah..... Libertarians might manage to run a serious candidate for President, for the first time ever. Righto.

How does a libertarian in the 21st Century approach the global media? Is it going to be BETTER with even fewer rules for what they can and can't say and do? Yeah, good fucking luck. But it's never ever gonna happen, so kids like BeardOfKnowledge can issue stupid little nothing proclamations about it, safe in the knowledge that he'll never have to consider how it would actually would work in the real world (it wouldn't).
It's stupid know-it-all teenager shit. Everything sucks and everyone is so fucking stupid and evil, and every single issue is just so simple. So all my stances are one atom deep, I can't defend or even expand on any of them, and I won't even attempt to. And when I say something that is flat out wrong, I won't ever stick my hand up and concede that I misspoke or was mistaken.
