Looking like he'll be ready to call out the winner of Conor vs. Khabib. Don't stand in the way, Dana!!!

Terrible because it's just not sustainable. You know he'd take it and run again. Maybe one defense, maybe.

Kind of want gsp to just go away.

If he’s not going to make at least 3 fight coming out of retirement run against a top contender, the champ and a title defense(if he fights for and wins the belt), then go away.

No one wants to see him get the belt and then vacate again. If he’s willing to prove he still has it over 3 fights, then sure go for it. Otherwise, please stop

You wouldn't want to see him fight Conor even in a one off fight?

Hell no. Conor has very few fights left (or so they say). I’d rather not watch him get hugged for 15-25 minutes straight for one of his very few fights remaining.

There’s always the chance Conor could stun everyone and win, which would make the fight worthwhile... but a blanket fest by gsp is most likely to occur and I’m not interested

Didn't see the GSP vs Bisping fight I assume?

I do. nothing in mma would make me happier than to see him win the LW belt, then the minute egg puts it round his waist, say he didn't want it and that he is done, walk away laughing and flipping Dana off.

It wouldn't be Conor fighting.

I want to see it. Who cares about holding up the division, he didn't do that to the MW division, just won the belt and vacated.

I want GSP to win 3 belts and solidify the GOAT status, noone can argue at that point

Georges will beat either guy easily
i believe this too given the fact that GSP's doing everything right, he's doing the intermittent fasting so I think he'll make the weight easily.

but he's probably sacrificing other attributes when he drops to lower weight

DC didn't KO many except Cummings at LHW, when he went up to HW, he's got KO power
GSP barely KO'd anyone at WW, but when he went up to MW, he's got KO power

at LW, GSP probably has more speed but maybe less power vs Khabib and Conor

I know what you're saying it he hasn't KOd anyone at MW, Mikey got dropped then eventually subbed.

GSP KOs in the UFC in order are

TKO over Hieron UFC 48
TKO over Sherk UFC 56
TKO over Hughes UFC 65
TKO over Serra UFC 83
TKO over Penn UFC 94

No actual KOs on his entire record.

He looks so small. I would like to know what he weighs in that pic. Going up and down so quick has to take a toll on him.

Maybe I'm biased because I'm a big GSP fan and love to witness acts of greatness, but I really want to see him challenge for a LW title. Sure, if he wins and relinquishes the belt it will complicate the division, but that isn't anything new. The LW championship went undefended for a year a half by the last legitimate champion; an interim title was issued to someone then taken back; the current champ won the title by beating a real estate agent on 2 days notice. Despite it quite possibly being the golden age of talent for the division, it is a pretty unstable weight class. Why not allow us fans the opportunity to potentially witness history being made by the arguable MMA GOAT? If Georges can beat the winner of Conor/Khabib at LW, then they aren't the best 155er in the promotion. If GSP wins and stays there to defend, great. If not, then it will be a blast watching the top 8 guys in the division fight it out to see who is most deserving to be the next champ.
